Airplane Loans - As the dimensions of the COVID-19 outbreak emerged in mid-March 2020, airline bookings soon fell off the cliff and the rest of the airline industry rested. And of course, the phone stopped ringing at the finance office where the airline loan originated. The outlook looks bleaker than it did during the deep recession of 2008.

But within a month, in a surprising development that no one expected, the used aircraft loan market has rebounded and for some banks and lenders, it now looks stronger than ever. "The level of activity is unbelievable. I can't tell you how busy we are. It's amazing," said Bob Howe of Dorr Aviation Credit, a veteran financial brokerage that has been in the business for more than 50 years. If potential buyers are taking a wait-and-see attitude, it's not clear from those taking out airline loans.

But what is clear is that the banks are sitting on piles of cash that cautious investors have dumped into CDs that may yield less but are also safer than the stocks that poured in in mid-March. They have been redeemed. That same week, the Federal Reserve cut interest rates to zero and announced plans to buy up to $700 billion in government bonds and mortgages.

Billionaires Queue To Buy Private Jets With Cheap Loans

Between stimulus and rate cuts, the economy is fueled by the highest amount of liquidity. According to the Federal Reserve, M2 money rose 20 percent from December to July, from $15.3 to $18.3 trillion. The supply of M2 consists of money deposits, checking accounts, savings and money market securities.

The last major shock to the economy and aviation was the financial collapse of 2008. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was a gradual train wreck that began in 2009 with a slow and rapid decline that continued into 2012. It is still rebounding in the face of falling volumes new aircraft sales.

The pandemic decline, if it can be called that, began in mid-March and lasted until early April, brokers told us. The phone stopped ringing and the rest of the economy shook. "I think everyone needs to take a deep breath and realize what's going on. Many of our customers are using airplanes as a business tool. They're feeling the impact of the pandemic firsthand," said David Savoie of US Aviation Finance, a direct director of lenders specializing in aircraft. light to heavy singles and twins.

Three other brokers we spoke with reported similar experiences but the slowdown was almost too short to notice. "When the Fed lowered rates, we saw a significant opening in activity for refinancing. For us, March, April and May were not new business, but in June, we started to see an increase in new business. look big," said Jim Blessing of Airfleet Capital, a leading brokerage firm. And credit inquiries haven't slowed down since. "It's definitely active. It's as busy as we've ever been," Blessing told us. AOPA Finance, also a broker that uses foreign banks, reported similar activity.

How Much Does It Cost To Own A Small Plane?

There are several market changes in this revival. First, the long-established trend of buyers relying on their cash reserves seems to be returning to buying on credit.

This has been going on for a year or two. Second, because money is so cheap and there is so much equity in owned aircraft because of tight prices in the used market, many owners can borrow enough to buy complete upgrades in avionics, engines and paint jobs. finance minimal pain.

For a while there in the 1990s, the words "investment" and "aircraft" could be seen in the same sentence without eliciting a laugh. And there is some truth to that because Cirrus doesn't exist, Cessna doesn't make planes, and Piper is bankrupt.

Airplane Loans

After 30 years, the three made airplanes and so did Diamond Airplanes. But the price of new aircraft is at a stratospheric level which causes the price of used aircraft to rise as well. But there's a problem: It's hard to do well, and for older airplanes, they just add more hours, making the airframe crowded.

Airbus: A350 Loans Now Comply With Wto Ruling » Airinsight

For some models, this means that the traditional depreciation curve that sees the new price tank for the first three years has been somewhat reduced. For some aircraft, it is the opposite. The chart above is interesting not only for the actual value, but also for the direction.

And there is a marked division between glass-paneled and steam-powered aircraft, especially for the Cessna 172 SP, a popular trainer. The map shows a 2006 model with a G1000 for $200,000, but that may be understating things. We've seen them listed for north of $250,000, if you can find them. The education market drives demand.

Warning: The values here are from the Bluebook but we are not sure how accurate they are since accurate sales reporting is difficult.

"When you see several hundred thousand dollar airplanes at a sale rate of three, it's pretty hard to beat. I've been doing this for 32 years and I've never seen anything like it," said Howe of Dorr Aviation.

Five U.s. Airlines Reach Deals With Treasury Department For Billions In Coronavirus Loans

Explaining the trend from cash to debt, Blessing said buyers increase the opportunity cost and push the cash-in-the-bank button. "If they're in the market and their portfolio is giving them a 5 or 6 percent rate of return, then they're in a better position in the 3 or 4 percent range today than if they were using that capital in other ways. bring ." He says good luck.

And the bank is ready to negotiate. Up to a point. When it looks like the stock market is about to fall, many investors flee to bank CDs and even if the returns aren't worth the trouble, at least they retain value. As a result, banks are flush with money and, if they are not too desperate to lend it, they are motivated to use the money.

"In past years, we've asked banks to sharpen their pencils. To drive business, we've sharpened our product," Howe said. "It's rare that our bank comes to us and says here's our rate, you can get more deals. If we rolled out a little bit more, what do you think we could get?" it increases.

Airplane Loans

And what they can get is a good deal for the buyer. A year ago, interest rates were very low, but now they are even lower. The grade is not less than 4 percent and on new aircraft, manufacturers do better deals than that.

How Much Does A Private Jet Cost?

For perspective, long-term interest rates have traditionally been between 6- and 7 percent. According to Emily Meczkowski of AOPA Finance, small loans—say under $50,000—may still command 7 percent, but loans closer to $100,000 will get better rates.

In fact, airplane loans are now cheaper than car loans, even for car buyers with exceptional credit ratings. According to Bankrate, the loan rate for more than 800 networks is 4.19 percent for new cars and 4.7 percent for used models. And there is a reason for that.

"This is a safe business," said Bob Howe. Banks like airline loans because they are reliable with fewer deposits, repos and repos. "The other part of commercial lending in banks is not very active. We see that banks are very hungry to add loans and aircraft is a large and diverse portfolio. You have many industries, you have a wide geographic diversity and compared to what we hear, it not just planes, but boats and RVs are on the move," said Airfleet's Blessing.

When we asked if some of this buying frenzy was driven by a return to general aviation because of the fear of flying on an airplane, brokers said there was no clear evidence to support that. "There are a few of them," Savoie said, but no one sees him as the main driver.

Indonesia Approves $700 Million In Foreign Loans For Two Aerial Tankers

A cash injection of about a third of the aircraft's value, or a little more, could bring the old board up to modern standards. Banks tend to say yes.

Even if the bank is in bankruptcy, this does not mean that you can walk out of the bank with a loan of half a million with just your signature. You also can't expect to beat many borrowers at already low interest rates. "We're seeing lenders put the lowest rates because they have the lowest budgets they're using. Interest rates are currently in the 4 percent range or lower. You can get variable rates that can go lower. But often, it might not make sense to take that extra risk if you're already at 3.9 percent to begin with," Blessing said.

Although banks are not necessarily picky, they choose the candidates they choose. Although banks are hungry for business expansion, they are well aware of what happened in 2008 and have built up protections about who they will lend to. And unlike in 2008, some banks are trying to prevent potential loan advances by offering payment deferrals to customers. Eva

Easily assembled for cleaning and featuring a slide opening feature, the D-50 GL9 closes the slide effortlessly when used with a weapon designed to lock onto GLOCK magazine levers.

It is recommended that a new OEM magazine be installed on Gen 1-3 GLOCK pistols to handle the additional weight of the magazine. Fourth generation GLOCK pistols will require an aftermarket metal magazine release. The installation of new return water is recommended to ensure a reliable supply. Individual differences between weapons may create a need for additional water repellency.

Discontinued Glock 42 .380 50 Round Mag Drm A13

The D-50 GL9 is not recommended for use with pistol caliber carbines (PCC) because the length of the drop turret will not support it in most caliber magazine wells. This unauthorized position can cause the turret magazine holder to wear out his hand and (in weapons different from the factory magazine specification) can lead to misfires and stoppages. The name sounds like the nonsense of an ignorant prohibitionist, but .50 caliber Glocks are real. Guncrafter Industries makes a conversion slide for the G21 and G41 to accept their 50GI cartridge. The teardrop is a budget alternative to the $4,000 Ultimate Longslide 1911, Model 4. At $595 to $660, they get a 50GI trigger at a lower price than the 1911 model.

Holding ten rounds in a slightly stretched magazine or nine rounds in a single loaded magazine, this conversion allows for more punch per shot. The theory behind this cycle is simple: why waste some of the kinetic energy expanding the projectile when you can start it before it expands?

The 50GI is a lower caliber like the classic .455 Webley. At the same pressure as the 45ACP, it's easier on the shooter and produces more rapid fire, something not found in the 50AE or 50S&W. from 185g at 1200fps to 275g at 875fps, and the 300g JSP is available for practice as well as for punching in the rough. At 700 fps, the 300g load is at the same power level as the 44 Special - a smooth, lightweight material that works well for quick second and third shots when needed. All expanding bullets are designed for thin-skinned human enemies, and the 230-grainer makes holes that deep and nearly an inch wide. The light for 185 gr stops at 9 inches but makes a wider path. The chronographed barrel is very close to the 4.5 inch barrel and is higher than the models with 5-6 inch barrels.

50. Glock

All copper construction works well in changing speed to expansion without splitting or falling petals. Flash was very low in all weights I tried (185, 230, 275 and 300).

Promag Glock 48/43x 9mm 50 Round Drum

As you can see, the crimped rim allows for a 45ACP rim. The magazine is easy to load with just one finger. Depending on the load, the number of muzzle bends is small or negligible, determined by the experience level 45ACP. One drawback of the Glock revolver compared to the nice long 1911 is the reduction in accuracy. My 9-shot group from 10 yards is about 2.25 inches, while the 1911 with its larger radius and the better one brings a 7-shot group within an inch. Again, on the #4 long jump, the group size is 10 yards less than the size of a scattered bullet! Things aren't quite as good with Glocks, though the difference is probably more ergonomic than mechanical.

Because 50GI ammo is expensive, shooters are expected to train using the high-quality 45ACP and carry the 50GI. Given the similarity of the shooting experience of the two calibers and the good reliability of the conversion, this is the right way. Unlike other powerful cartridges such as 10mm Auto and 44Mag, the 50GI does not exhaust the shooter during the action and is gentle on the ears without protection and subsonic load.

Compared to the standard Glock magazine, the conversion offers less capacity, from 13+1 to 8+1. Each shot increases the face area by about 22% both before and after expansion. The deal is up to you. Should I shoot nine more pot shots before reloading or shoot five more shots before I need a mag ring?

As you can see, there is an elongated barrel. Although they add a bit of speed, a belt for those who block it is optional. Although the 50GI is currently only available from Guncrafter Industries, many handloading instructions call for even smaller loads. Burning metal can be used many times.

Glock 27 Gen 5 .40cal New

Do not be afraid to think that 50 bullets are coming out of a polymer gun! Because the 50 GI™ is not in the Magnum family, and because of the round operating with so little back pressure, you will be amazed at how capable a 50-caliber pistol can be.

Simply remove your pistol, replace the upper end with your .50 GI conversion unit, load your provided 9 round magazine and you are ready to take advantage of the most controllable 50 rounds ever. These tanks do not have polygonal guns and are not affected by shelling.

Be sure to select your finish option and which version you want. If you choose the Cerakote finish, choose the stainless steel option. Cerakote is not applied over Melonite. Please call custom option.

* The HourGlock® Conversion Unit with RMR cut does not come with a Visual Converter. They lead directly to RMR/SRO visibility. For other scenarios, it would require a distraction.

On the outside, the 1911 Custom Model 1 has the same size and weight as the 1911 Govt. When you look inside, you can find a well designed transition that allows this platform to fire the ... .50 GI Pistol (12.7×23mmRB) Cartridge Made by Alex Zimmerman of Guncrafter Industries went. The .50 GI was introduced in the 2004 SHOT program as the Guncrafter Industries Model No. was presented with. 1, which is a variant of the M1911. The circle has a circle with the same diameter as the .45 ACP.

Guncrafter .50gi Glock 20/21 Conversion Kit

In 2006, Guncrafter Industries introduced its 1911 Model 2, which features a full light rail/dust cover and room for a .50 GI printer box. Both the M1 and M2 can be equipped with Guncrafter Industries Magazine .45 ACP conversion units.

Physically, the .50 GI circuit is larger and slightly longer than the .45 ACP. M1 and M2 magazines can hold 7 rounds. The Glock Transform can hold eight rounds in a standard magazine and up to nine with an additional base pad.

The .50 GI operates at pressures comparable to the .45 ACP of approximately 15,000 psi (100 MPa). Felt recoil is no different from the .45 ACP. The .50 GI has built a reputation for accuracy, although this can be attributed to the higher precision of semi-custom and oversized guncrafter pistols. In one test, the 300-grain (19 g) Jacketed Flatpoint (JFP) gave a 25-yard group of 2.24 inches, and the 300-grain Jacketed Hollow Point (JHP) and 275-grain JHP gave a 25-yard group of 2.14 inches . ,

The penetration of the .50 GI's gelatin (but not necessarily the kinetic energy) is quite different from that of the .45 ACP.

Promag Glock 50 Round 9mm Drum Magazine For Glock 17 And 19

While it is one of the few examples of the largest bullet (.50) allowed in a semiauto pistol, it is intended to be designed to have less torque and kinetic force than a magnum. 50 caliber round such as .50 Action Express (semi-automatic) or .500 S&W Magnum (rifle). Factory-loaded ammunition has a power of approximately 500 ft lb.

This printer case is not used in law enforcement and is rarely used for personal protection due to the limited availability of ammunition and guns in the printer case. Apparently, the only commercial rifles available in this capacity were Guncrafter Industries' own Colt 1911, Guncrafter Industries' own GC 21 and Glock 20 converter upper receivers, and Magnum Research loaded their BFR rifles in this size. Title sounds. Kind of the craziness of the ignorant prodigy, but .50 Glocks are true. Guncrafter Industries made conversion slides for the G21 and G41 to carry their 50GI cartridge. The slides are the ultimate $4000 1911 Longslide, the budget option for their 4th model. At $595 to $660, it gets a 50GI caliber launcher at a lower cost than the street 1911.

By placing ten rounds in the magazine slightly extended or nine rounds in a flush fit, this conversion allows for more punches per shot. The principle behind this round is simple: why spend some kinetic energy expanding a projectile when it can be pre-expanded?

50cal Glock

The 50GI is a low-pressure caliper along the lines of the classic .455 Webley. 45ACP, it's easier on the shooter and provides equally fast tracking, something not seen with the 50AE or 50S&W. The secondary range of ammunition expansion is 185gr at 1200fps to 275gr at 875fps, and 300gr JSP is available for practice and for tough wildlife punching. At 700fps, the 300gr load is at a similar power level to the 44 Special, a lighter and easier round of shots that works well for rapid second and third shots when needed. Expanded bullets advanced to thin-skinned human enemies with 230 grains, making a hole a foot deep and about an inch wide. The light stops at 9″ for the 185gr caliber but widens the path. The actual recording speed is very close to the 4.5″ barrel and exceeds the 5″–6″ tube spec.

From Umarex: Glock 17 Gen5 T4e, The First Official Glock Paintball Pistol

All-copper rockets are very effective at converting motion into magnification without breaking or bending the flower on the body. Muzzle flash is minimal with all the loads I tried (185, 230, 275 and 300).

As you can see, both sides allow for a 45ACP breechface size. Magazines are easy to load with just one finger. Depending on the load, the level of nozzle spin is roughly equivalent to what the 45ACP experienced. The sideways Glock change reduced accuracy relative to the 1911 Long Slide. My 9-shot team is about 25 2.25 at 10 yards, while the 1911 with a longer radius and better tips printed a 7-shot to within an inch. Again, with the fourth slip, at ten yards the team size is smaller than the extended bullet size! with glocks,
